The NEJM Weekly CME Program
is a convenient way to fulfill your CME requirements while learning
important information about the latest advances in medicine.

Each week, three articles
in the New England Journal of Medicine have a companion CME exam
available online. You can earn up to 1 AMA PRA Category
1 Credit for each exam successfully completed.
Interactive Medical Cases are worth up to 2 AMA PRA Category
1 Credits.
EXAM AVAILABILITY
Articles with corresponding
CME exams are identified throughout our Web site click on the
CME link to register for a specific exam.
New CME exams are available
as each issue of the New England Journal of Medicine is published.
Each week three new exams are available in print and online.
The online CME exams are
available at any time and provide immediate results and confirmation
of credit earned. CME exams are available online beginning with the
January 5, 2006, issue of the NEJM.
Exams can also be completed
using the Print Response Form in the print edition of the NEJM. See
the print edition for complete details.

CME PRICING
NEJM Subscribers
Paid individual
subscribers to the New England Journal of Medicine are eligible
to take their first twenty exams free each year, provided these are
completed online. These are included in the NEJM subscription fee.
Additional online exams
(and all print exams) can be purchased at the preferred subscriber rate
of $10 per exam.
Bundles of ten online exams can be purchased at the preferred subscriber rate of $45 and be used over time. Our system will keep track of available exams for you.
Nonsubscribers
Individuals who do not subscribe
to the NEJM may purchase exams at the full rate of $15 per exam. This
fee includes full-text access to the source article for the exam.
Bundles of ten online exams can be purchased at the rate of $100 and be used over time. Our system will keep track of available exams for you.
ACCREDITATION
INFORMATION
The Massachusetts Medical Society designates each NEJM Weekly CME program for
a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
Interactive Medical Cases are worth up to 2 AMA PRA Category
1 Credits.
Physicians should
only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The Massachusetts Medical
Society is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing
medical education for physicians.
